Trauma & PTSD Counselling
Trauma can leave lasting effects on how you experience yourself, others, and the world. You might notice feeling on edge, disconnected, easily overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense but feel hard to change. These responses are often the body’s way of trying to protect you.
My approach is slow, respectful, and grounding. We work at a pace that feels safe, paying attention to both your inner experience and your sense of stability in the present moment. The goal is not to relive what happened, but to gently build more choice, ease, and connection in your day-to-day life.
Life Transitions & Identity
Life transitions can stir up questions we didn’t expect: about who we are, what we want, and where we’re headed. You might be navigating a career shift, relationship change, becoming (or not becoming) a parent, or simply feeling like the life you’re living no longer fits the way it once did. Often, these moments come with uncertainty, grief for what’s been, or a quiet sense of being ungrounded.
My approach is reflective and spacious, offering room to slow down and explore what feels meaningful to you right now. Rather than rushing toward answers, we take time to notice what’s emerging, what no longer feels aligned, and what you want to move toward at a pace that feels steady and supportive.
Anxiety Counselling
Anxiety can show up in many ways: constant worry, racing thoughts, tension in the body, trouble resting, or feeling stuck in “what ifs.” You might feel on edge even when things seem fine on the surface, or exhausted from trying to manage it all on your own.
In our work together, we focus on understanding how anxiety shows up for you and what it might be responding to. I take a grounded, gentle approach that includes learning to notice patterns, reconnect with a sense of safety, and build more trust in your ability to move through uncertainty without forcing yourself to “just calm down.”
Depression Counselling
Depression often isn’t just sadness. It can feel like heaviness, numbness, low motivation, or a sense of disconnection from yourself and the world around you. You might feel stuck, tired of trying, or unsure how to name what’s been weighing on you.
My approach offers a steady and compassionate space to sit with these experiences without judgment or pressure to feel differently right away. Together, we explore what this period of your life might be asking for, gently reconnect with what brings meaning or relief, and move toward small, realistic shifts that support you where you are.
Grief & Loss
Grief can follow many kinds of loss, not only the death of a loved one, but also the loss of a relationship, identity, future plans, or a sense of safety. It often comes in waves and can feel isolating, especially when others expect you to “move on.”
I offer a space where grief is welcomed and honoured in its many forms. Rather than trying to resolve or minimize it, we focus on making room for your experience, tending to what feels tender, and finding ways to carry loss alongside life without rushing your process or path.
